Kurt Pierloot joins CubeCold as Chief Executive Officer to lead the company through its next phase of growth and development. His focus is on strengthening CubeCold’s position as a leading European cold chain logistics platform, driving profitable growth, operational excellence and integration, while preserving the entrepreneurial spirit and strong customer focus across the Group.

Kurt brings 25+ years of international leadership experience in logistics, strategic consulting and business transformation. He began his career at McKinsey before joining bpost, where he held several senior executive positions, including Chief Operating Officer, CEO Parcels & Logistics and CEO Mail & Retail, playing a key role in the company’s transformation and international expansion.

Prior to joining CubeCold, Kurt served for seven years as CEO of Bleckmann, where he led significant profitable growth, international expansion and operational transformation while strengthening the organisation and its customer proposition.

Kurt also serves on the boards of ECS and Ahlers and holds a degree in Commercial Engineering from Solvay Business School.

Liz Gildea joins CubeCold with 20+ years of international leadership experience in a variety of industries and geographies. Liz has a robust background in multi-cultural buy-and-build strategies, financial transformation, value creation and profitable growth.

Liz began her career in the manufacturing and distribution sector with CRH Plc where she spent 12 years in increasingly senior roles. Liz moved to North America with CRH where she was instrumental in the successful turnaround of the underperforming Construction Accessories Division. Following this, Liz realised that her passion lay in fast paced transformation and value creation roles and moved to the Private Equity market in 2017 when she joined the AGRO Merchants Group.

Liz was part of a successful buy and build exit as the CFO for AGRO Merchants Group and became CFO Europe for Americold once they acquired AGRO Merchants in December 2020.

Prior to joining CubeCold, Liz was the CFO for Customs Support Group, where she focused on strategic finance, sustainable growth, integration and talent management.

Liz is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accounts in Ireland, a CPA (USA) and holds an MBA from Georgia State University where she achieved a first-class honours (4.0) degree.

Paul Jukes joins CubeCold as Chief Operating Officer to drive operational performance, EBITDA growth, integration and transformative change across the CubeCold companies.  Paul joins from Americold, having been responsible for the European operations and previously for AGRO Merchants.

Paul is a results-driven, forward-thinking executive with 25+ years of proven leadership experience across the logistics, manufacturing and supply chain sectors. Adept at delivering operational and financial performance, driving top and bottom-line growth.
